Learning a text-based programming language, such as C, for the first time can seem like a daunting task. Today’s video gives an overview and some general information to get you acquainted with C, as well as outline some general rules and best practices. This video is the first in a series of tutorials that aims to teach a novice programmer everything they need to know to start programming their own projects in C.
Why C? Invented in 1972, C quickly became the industry standard for operating systems, embedded systems, and beyond, and is still in widespread use today. Thus, having literacy in C is essential for understanding today’s technology.
