Getting Started with LDCAD – A Better Alternative to LDD

Today we explore LDCAD, a digital CAD software for LEGO that allows you to build your models with virtual LEGO bricks on your computer and create building instructions. LDCAD has all of the latest LEGO bricks such as MINDSTORMS EV3 elements, pneumatics, Power Functions, etc. thanks to the LDraw parts library. LDCAD is much more powerful than LEGO Digital Designer (LDD), and since LDD is no longer supported by LEGO, LDCAD makes a great replacement. In today’s video, I teach you everything you need to know to get started with building your own EV3 robots in LDCAD.
