LEGO Spike Prime and LEGO MINDSTORMS 51515 are taking the FIRST LEGO League community by storm. The go-to platform for building an FLL robot was the LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 for years. As the next generation of LEGO robotics, LEGO Spike Prime and LEGO 51515 offer some enticing competitive advantages over the EV3 in the context of the FLL robot game competition.
Today, I list my five reasons why I think LEGO Spike Prime will eventually replace the EV3 as the LEGO robotics platform of choice for an FLL robot.
