Smart Deceleration Program Controlled with Motor Rotations – EV3 Navigation with Bendik Skarpnes

This week’s tutorial demonstrates the ultimate deceleration program for EV3 robots. A deceleration function is such an important part of a successful FLL program because it limits wheel spin and improves robot stability. The program shown in today’s video is the ultimate deceleration program because it auto-detects its starting speed and allows you to customize every aspect of the acceleration–starting and ending speed and deceleration rate–while still setting it to stop after a specific number of rotations, making it an indispensable program for FLL teams. This program was created and shared by Bendik Skarpnes from FLL Team Gosen.
