Virtual vs. Physical Robots Part 2 – Mechanisms

This week, I will be comparing how mechanisms and complex gear trains work on robots in the Virtual Robotics Toolkit to mechanisms on a physical EV3 robot.

The Virtual Robotics Toolkit (VRT) is a robotics simulation software made by Cogmation robotics, and allows you to prototype an EV3/NXT creation without the need for a physical robot, offering a cost-effective alternative. If you are interested in learning more, check it out on the Cogmation website here.
